Our next performance:

Annual Spring Recital

I Hope You Dance

Saturday, June 11th

at

1:30 & 6:30 at Memorial Theater

In addition to our regular classes, we produce a variety of community concerts. Public performances are one of the best confidence builders and offer our students an opportunity to demonstrate the results of regular training. Through working with others to prepare for such events, our students learn responsibility, creative thinking, organization, self-management, teamwork, and communication.

Dress Rehearsal at the Memorial Theater

If for whatever reason a student fails to attend, he/she will NOT be permitted to perform in the recital.

  • Be ready to go on stage 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
  • NO GUM, NO UNDERWEAR, NO JEWELRY (except small stud earrings & wedding bands)

Videos

  • Videos of the performances are available to purchase.  Westie Productions will be doing our videography again this year.  Their video is a professional taping that uses multiple camera angles and they connect directly to the stage sound.  They must be ordered and paid for by Friday, June 10th.  They are $25.00 plus tax.

Recitals

  • Students need to arrive at the theater one-half hour before the show starts.  Doors will open one hour before show time.
  • Costumes are allowed in the audience providing they are covered with a very large T-shirt or a bathrobe.  Headpieces and tap shoes MAY NOT be worn in the audience.  Abusing this privilege will terminate it, as viewing costumes in the audience creates an unprofessional distraction.
