Policies & Procedures



-Payments are due by the 1st of each month.  Payments made after the 5th are subject to a 10% late fee per class.  All enrolled students are expected to pay the full monthly tuition regardless of the number of classes attended.

-Accounts that are 2 months past due will result in the immediate suspension of dance classes until account is paid in full.

-A $30.00 fee will be charged for any check returned by the bank.  Returned checks are not re-deposited.

-A written 2 week notice is required for any student dropping a class to avoid further billing for tuition. 


Dress Code

-All dance shoes must be purchased from the studio.  (Unless approved by teacher)

Baby Steps:  Ballet shoes, tights, comfortable dance clothes, hair up.

Tippy Toes/Tap & Toes/Kinderdance:  Ballet and Tap shoes, tights, comfortable dance clothes, hair up.

Ballet/Pointe:  Leotard, tights, hair up, Ballet shoes, tights

Hip Hop:  Comfortable clothes, Hip Hop shoes

Jazz/Cheerdance/Acro:  Comfortable clothes, Jazz shoes, tights

Tap:  Comfortable clothes, Split-sole Tap shoes, tights

Lyrical:  Comfortable dance clothes, Lyrical sandals, tights


Class Conduct

-All students are expected to respect fellow students and teachers.

-No cell phones or texting during class.



-Students are expected to be ready and dressed for class at the classes scheduled start time.

-Students that arrive late, without prior notice, will have to sit and watch class.

-Students that miss classes/solos due to illness, vacation, injury, personal reasons, etc have forfeited that time.  There will be no make-up lessons unless the teacher cancels class. 

-If the teacher is unable to be at class, and a substitute is available, class will still be held as scheduled.

-Students that have inconsistent attendance may be moved to a lower level if they are not progressing at the same rate as the rest of the class.  


General Info

-Absolutely no shoes are permitted in the dance rooms.

-No food or gum is permitted in the dance rooms.

-Dancers and parents will always be positive and encouraging to other dancers, teachers and anyone who enters our dance studio.

-If you have questions or concerns about anything at the studio please speak with someone at the front desk, send us an email, or leave a message for the teacher and they will get back to you after class.

-Please allow the teachers to make all decisions regarding level and class placement of the students.  Each dancer will be placed in a class that the teacher feels is the best for that dancer's age and ability.  We cannot make accommodations for reasons such as friends, carpools, etc.  Please be reminded that each dancer progresses at their own pace and some groups that start a class together may not be at the same level after a year or two.
